social strategy for mixed-income housing

The client is the owner of an unused grain silo, and asked for it to be converted into a
mixed-income residential
complex.
How can the units of the lower income residents not need to be cross-subsidized by the
others? How can we use the space towards a more stable economy for lowerincomers?
To find a point of unity, a common ideal must be
found.

what if….
…the housing units had a
variety of sizes, to different price points?
…we establish a gated
community where higher and lower incomers reciprocate?
