flowed geode

public pool for gender fluidity

we like water

but not everyone wants to swim the same way.
There has been a bloom in the cultural
acceptance of the fluidity of gender and sex,
but not many places in the built environment that
embraces it.
This calls for public facilities such as this
bathhouse to reflect this new paradigm; but how
can it be done without making it
uncomfortable for all parties?

what if…
…we allow the complex geometry to create a
large variety of pools, where people can find the
alcove that suits them best?
…we accommodate the ways people want to
enjoy the pools, and encourage mixing of
activities to widen perspectives and normalize
the new paradigm?
